Drain Up Hose
Drain hose LIGHTⅡ, Drain hose LIGHTSF
Hose with heat insulator (with joint) kit for packaged air-conditioner drain-up piping, in which the drain hose and joint are integrated so that installation is completed only by connecting both ends on the air-conditioner side and the drain pipe side.
FEATURES
Feature 1
Since an end seal packing is included for connection, direct connection can be made without the need for an adapter. When an elbow joint is used on the drainage side, it can be connected directly to the joint without using a straight pipe.
Feature 2
The joints at both ends rotate 360 degrees, allowing easy and effortless installation even if the position of the piping on the air conditioning unit side and the drainage pipe are slightly misaligned.
Feature 3
The joints and hoses are designed to be detachable by removing the clips, and can be used for water flow inspection during construction and maintenance after construction. It also features a locking ring to prevent mis-fitting of the clip. Set the locking ring in line with the protruding part of the clip, and if the yellow clip cannot be seen, the joint is correctly made.
Feature 4
Since the outside diameter of the straight fitting has the same dimensions as one larger pipe size, the straight fitting can be directly connected to a rigid PVC pipe fitting with dew condensation prevention layer. When a T-branch joint or elbow joint is used on the drain pipe side, it can be bonded directly to the joint without using a straight pipe.

Important points to note
This product is a special hose for drain-up piping of packaged air conditioners. Do not use for other piping.
*Please install hoses and fittings in such a way that they are not subjected to excessive tension, twisting, or other loads. This may cause damage or deformation.
*Please install the hose so that there is no reverse slope after the apex of the hose rise. This can cause condensate drainage to backflow.
*When detaching the coupling from the hose, be sure to protect the O-ring on the hose side from dust and foreign matter. Reconnecting fittings with dust or foreign matter on them may cause leakage.
*When disconnecting the fitting from the hose and reconnecting it, make sure that the fitting is firmly inserted all the way back into the hose side and that the clip is firmly adhered to the fitting. If the fitting is not inserted all the way in or the clip is not tight, the fitting may come off or cause leakage.
*Be sure to wrap the hose support with the included hose protector for the hanging section. Also, use the appropriate size (for VP pipe 40) for the hanging bracket. This can cause the heat-retaining layer to collapse and condensation to form.
This product is for indoor use only. Do not use outdoors. Also, when storing the product, keep it indoors.
*Be sure to insulate the joints. This can cause condensation to form.
*There are several manufacturers of rigid PVC pipes with dew condensation prevention layer, and some of them have different dimensions even if they have the same nominal diameter, so please check if it is possible to connect them by inserting them into a fitting without applying adhesive beforehand. Do not use if it cannot be inserted into the joint without force or is loose even when inserted deeply. Failure to do so may result in joint damage or leakage.
*For cutting and installation of rigid PVC pipe with dew condensation prevention layer, please follow the installation procedure of the pipe manufacturer to be connected.
*When connecting to rigid PVC pipe with dew condensation prevention layer, apply adhesive evenly to the pipe end face as well.
Be sure to chamfer the end face of the PVC pipe (chamfer width: 1 mm) so that there are no burrs or chips on the end. Connecting without beveling the ends may cause adhesive failure or cracks in the joint.
*Since the outside diameters of PVC pipes are not identical within the tolerance range of JIS standards, some pipes cannot be inserted to the bottom of this product joint. In such cases, forcibly inserting the PVC pipe to the bottom of the product joint may cause damage.
Depending on the air conditioner model, the connection cannot be made directly to the connection on the indoor unit side, but may be made via the drain hose attached to the equipment. If the shape of the tip of the indoor unit connection part is a gouge, if it is larger than the joint receptacle of this product, or if it is made of a material other than vinyl chloride, do not directly bond and connect. Forcible insertion and connection may cause excessive stress on the joint, resulting in damage.
*Even if it is possible to connect directly with the indoor unit connection, some models may not fit deep enough due to their dimensions. Before applying adhesive, check the zero point (the point where the unit stops when lightly pushed in by hand) and do not over-insert the unit.
This product is made of polyvinyl chloride resin, which softens and deforms at high temperatures. Storage or neglect under high temperature may cause leakage from the sail part due to deformation, or cracking due to insertion into the receptacle. Do not place in a car on a sunny day or in direct sunlight. Do not place near heat sources such as heating equipment.
