Important points to note
Please read the separate certification and installation instructions carefully before selecting the most appropriate part number and installation.
*Fire-resistant packs are flexible and should be used as is without disassembly or cutting. In the unlikely event that the fireproof pack is damaged, repair it with plastic tape or other means to prevent the contents from flowing. If the contents get into your eyes, rinse them immediately with running water and seek medical attention. If it adheres to skin, wipe clean and wash thoroughly with soap and water.
*If the piping is piped to the full opening diameter, it may not be possible to install. Allow plenty of room for the size of the opening to the penetrating piping.
Do not use a screwdriver or other sharp-edged object to fill the pack, as it may damage the fire-resistant pack.
*Please be sure to use the hold-down bracket to keep the fire-resistant pack in place. Also, be sure to use backup material for floor construction methods.
Be sure to support and secure the piping before and after the penetrating member. Insufficient support and anchorage may result in misalignment or gaps in the fireproof pack.
*Please take measures to prevent direct exposure to sunlight and rainwater when using the product outdoors.
